I just installed the Lockdown and Bushings on my VB. The bushings weren’t too terrible - I had to uncouple my exhaust (Cobb 3”) at the donut gasket to give me enough room to access the inboard bolt. I just used a pair of thicc vise grips and pinched it TIGHT on the bottom half of the factor rubber bushing and twisted (rotated) it back and forth about a dozen times and till I felt it give and then I pried/pulled on them and they just snapped right off.

@@EricMixon the bushings do look like they will be quite the headache to get out 😅, how does the car feel?

@ I’ve replaced most of my bushings/mounts so it’s prettttttty tight. It feels like when I shift, the revs don’t drop as much - if that makes sense. Not sure if it’s placebo or not. Definitely more NVH tho, so I guess it’s doing something!

Almost worth replacing those bolts with stainless steel socket head cap screws instead.

i skipped it all, that 2 piece driveshaft sucks. 1 piece carbon fiber driveshaft makes a world of difference.

Yeah I heard that they are pretty good, but my bank account can't handle that right now because I have another plan I am trying to put into play. But for how the car feels so far is pretty interesting and I like it so far!
