Thanks for the tutorial. I wonder if i can install these on my office pc since our systems guy don't like us messing/ adding with any of these gizmos.

You usually can install personal files in your home/.nuke directory. This is where Nuke saves your preferences among other things. PxF nodes are 'groups' instead of true 'gizmos'. That means you can share your Nuke files with colleagues even if they don't have PxF installed. This also means your scripts will run on your render farm even if PxF is not installed on the farm machines.

I"ve successfully installed the gizmo pack, it shows up when I hit tab, but there is no icon in the node toolbar, any idea how to fix that?

Which OS and which version of Nuke?

I just tried it on 15.0v3... works as expected. Make sure the pixelfudger3 folder is in your .nuke folder. Add nuke.pluginAddPath('pixelfudger3') to your own init.py. Make sure the menu.py provided is still in the pixelfudger3 folder. If you have other tools building menus elsewhere, might be worth disabling them temporarily... maybe there's a naming conflict with the Pixelfudger menu.py?
