Idk why Yt recommended me this video but here I am. lol I use Hetzner not only for learning, but also for my business and when the requirements are not too specific, it's for me often a far better option than using any of the big cloud providers. Not only for the pricing, but because their support is blazing fast and absolutely amazing. For one project I needed some KVM hardware they don't provide normally, but their support still made it possible anyway.

Wow I thought the only way to install proxmox on hetzner was through the installimage script. I've tried with installimage, but had the issue of mdadm raid enabled + wanting to use zfs instead (also bad idea to put zfs on top of mdadm), and couldn't just put the filesystem in the script (it doesn't support zfs). This a very cool way to installing an os on hetzner machines, allows for much more customization thank you very much !!

Talk about timing, I have been with hetzner for years, switched to the EX101 probably 6 months ago, have been living on a Docker Compose setup on Ubuntu forever, have always tossed around the idea of switching to Proxmox, but it was intimidating, you pretty much have the same exact setup I do, you only an extra 4tb SSD. Very easy to follow along to, I plan on making the switch now thanks!

Regarding reliability you are totally wrong. Please read documentation on site and compare to AWS or any other cloud. They use even better network infrastructure. Video is pretty good. I like it.

VNC asks me for a password. In your qemu-system-x86_64 command, you don't specify any password for VNC. Could give me hint what I might be doing wrong?

There is much better way to install Proxmox. Simply install stock Debian. Then you can install proxmox over debian. No need of rescue mode and additional stuff. Always install with default drive and then order additional drives.

How did you vnc into it. Can you add instruction on every step of the vnc process. I install vnc put my IP address in but I can never connect to it?
