Roll it up then strap it down like this guy did then 1 full roll towards the outside of the building until you see the strap has one band around it

So what would I do differently to not create the first issue of having to add the extra 2x4s? ie measure for door after opening is cut then order door to size?? Thanks

1cleandude Yeah, the door I ordered was 4‘ x 7‘ and the manufacturer told me to cut my whole exactly 4‘ x 7‘. So I did that without thinking any further. Once I received the door I should have assembled it and measured the width and added 2 x 4 support around my cut then. I suppose I could have ordered a door that was 3’ 6“ x 7‘ in order to fasten the door to existing 2x4’s but I knew that I would be rolling my four wheeler in and out and wanted at least 4’ width. It all worked out in the end. Sort of a measure once cut twice scenario. Ha. Thanks for watching!
