Installing sealed bearings in a FLO rear hub with a Wheels Manufacturing Drift Set

Demonstration of how to install sealed bearings in a rear hub with a drift set. This method allows for easy pressing of the sealed bearings into the hub. No more crying, no more tears. The drift set and press cost about $70. So it make take a few bearing replacements for the tools to pay for themselves. But if you do it this way, at least you know it was done correctly.

Looks like a great high quality piece of kit and nice video demo. I'm guessing the axle had a step in it, would it have been easier to install the drive side first and then use less spacers on the non-drive side (since the axle doesn't stick out as far on that side)?

test868 I followed the order that FLO did in their video. But now that I think about what you have suggested, I do think that would be easier. And yes, the axle is stepped.
