How about if your bath tub tile was refurbished with expoxy paint . Will it still adhere?

Yes, I see no problem with that As long as the epoxy paint was installed correctly everything should bond together fine.

@samthompson3019 if you had to prefer. Should installing prior to the epoxy paint be better (and just taping it/covering it so it doesn't get paint) or after the paint cured...then installing this? My contractor hasn't done the paint yet but either way I would love these shelves

How does this system work if your tiles are textured?

It works better if it is a flat surface, but I have used the system on textured tile by mounting the bracket, adding additional glue to the backside of bracket to fill voids and letting that dry then mounting the shelf on top, hope this helps.

Does it get moldy between the adhesive and the tiles? Should I caulk where the shelf meets the tile to prevent mold from getting in?

Yes you you need to use a color match caulk between the shelf and the walls.
