did you figured it out what was the probleM? looks like the fixture plate doesn't have the correct parallelism they advertise in the product description..

Sorry - I just saw your comment. Essentially, I was told by Mr. Saunders that it’s within the tolerance and scope of the machine and fixture plate. I didn’t test the whole fixture plate but I did test five or six other locations and it appears that just that one location was .0015 out, so I marked it with red hole plugs and I just avoid it. With that said, the top of the vice moves so when paired with the other side that is within tolerance it evens out - if that makes any sense. So far I have not noticed any issues with the parts I’m making. Additionally, Mr. Saunders was very helpful and even responded with a personal video on how to set it up and covered some of my concerns. I would comfortably recommend there fixture table. Sorry - for the delayed response!

@@i.parkinson7822 no problem. Thank you for the reply! I was wondering, do you notice any movement between teh bottom part of the vise with the diamond locator pin and the fixture plate? Or they male a close fit and that side of the vise is really fixed? Becasue that will be crucial for repeat repeatibility. Thank you.

Ale - there is a little movement but that’s required. I brought that up to Mr. Saunders also, but he said that’s required. You couldn’t have a press fit... I honestly would recommend the the plate. I love the vises too. When torqued down they lock your part in very very well. I’m really happy.

@@i.parkinson7822 I’m having a problem with parts being locked down on vise. Some reason it comes loose. I have tried many methods and same thing. I’m baffled beyond this point.

I get the same exact readings on my Modular vises! Did you figure out why?
