Fun fact - I’m currently writing this on an Activation Locked iPad Air. My dad just had a spare iPad for years and didn’t even know it’s appleid. I dug out the damn thing, jailbroke it for no reason, and using iDNS Portal, got access to internet through this piece of metal. My dad likes to free me from my phone if I get ill, so now I’m stuck like this. So in a way, I’m like our boy Bringus: in love with old tech and doesn’t like it when the device runs something completely fine and without pleas for mercy.

Did I just watch Bringus single-handedly changing handheld-gaming probably forever? Seriously, I really like that idea. You have an ergonomic controller, a kind-of ergonomic setup that will not give you instant neck pain and with slight modifications a portable setup on the go. I cannot fathom why a company would make a device this impressively miniaturized and *NOT* make a variant that's a real all-in-one handheld. You could just stretch this thing's housing, Embed a screen in it, Then market it as a near-pocketable Steam Deck-like. @@sceerane8662eh, I too prefer my handhelds with screens and this is way too expensive for me to ever consider it but it’s clearly for a niche audience like a lot of these handhelds are. None of them will sell in huge numbers and they aren’t meant to be anyone’s main PC, they are expensive toys for gamers with too much money but I’m still glad that they are being made. @@champagnesupernova1839 "mediocre product that performs good enough" i thought that would be enough to communicate that i thought it was mediocre for reasons unrelated to performance, my bad on not communicating that better. To be more specific in my viewpoint, i think its a mediocre product because its a laptop shoved into an even smaller form factor without a display, with a small battery, which either needs to be tethered to a display usually via some adapter (unless you already own one with a type c interface) or via unreliable crappy network tech, all for the sake of gaming on a controller. If the steam deck (or, dedicated gaming laptops in general honestly) didnt exist then maybe i could see a use case for this thing but i just dont. And I dont mean to say noone could derive enjoyment from this. I just think it would need to be priced pretty cheap to be worth considering against any other way to game portably (even though you cant really game portably with this thing unless you rig up something like Mr. Bringus did). Because this is a novelty computer with a unique form factor, it will not be cheap I, hope that essay clears things up lol

@@Stampyboyz I do know some people pirate games-- indie or not-- because they live in countries where games are extremely expensive. A lot of indie devs I've seen also openly support piracy. Absolutely support indie devs if you can afford to, but trust me a lot of them do not care
@StampyboyzАй бұрын
@ I know, however im specifically pointing it out that if you can afford (ofc without having to save up months for it) Edit quickly after replying: ofc there are exceptions such as games that aren't able to be bought anymore

21:09 This is a weird bug that occurs when you’re in fullscreen, for some reason this is also linked to graphics settings just NOT APPLYING, which explains the frame rate not changing at 8x MSAA, you gotta go into fullscreen borderless or windowed, apply the settings, then go back to fullscreen once they’re set.. the PC port is weird, man.

"In some cases games can run much better without a DRM" Most cases, I'd say All but there are very few where there's no preformence difference Also due to how it's blurred out (still letting you know how long the text is), it's funny as hell that I can immediately tell what repacker is being used so note: if it is the one starting with D, their links had their url shorteners hijacked so it's not a completely safe site at the moment, and hasn't been for a few months
