GREAT VIDEO. I just built a grape trellis a few weekends ago (1 row), and it took 3 posts on each end with some special wedge brackets that are like $15 per end post. This is so EASY and cheap! My next two rows are going to be much better!

Face the notches of the t-post at 45 degrees of a 90degree corner if you choose to use this method. Your angled t-post will be inside of the corner so if you have animals inside they can push climb or rub on it. I have done this with temporary fencing many times especially with welded wire. For permanent fencing I suggest a proper corner post.

T post are intended to be line post they aren't designed to have tension on them in any direction.

Thanks. That looks good for a trellis but there is no support for side loads on the diagonal support. Thus it would not work for a corner. I'll need to think about how to add this idea into a corner.

I took a 4 inch grinder and ground a notch in the vertical corner upright for the opposite side brace. One side of the vertical I did like this guy on the nub and the other side I put a notch in the vertical and jammed the top of the brace post into it the notch of the vertical corner. I live on solid lava so the bottoms are drilled with 2 inch mason bit about 8 inches deep. I bend the brace post at the bottom so it leans into the vertical.

I put a notch on the other side with a 4 inch grinder and it locks the brace in sweet.

Why don't you recommend going smaller than 12 gauge wire? I'd like to try using my spare 14 gauge before buying any.

Depends on the size of the dog.. haha.. I had a deer run straight into mine and the fence bent to the shape of a bell... the Tposts didnt move... Thanks for watching!
