Which cables did you connect the aux adapter cables too? Did you connect them to aux input R, aux input L or audio input L. I’m so confused on that part. Pls let me know i have the same model and car as you with bose system and everything.

Nice video man! Interested in changing my head unit on my Mazda 3. Do you know which model number you got? How’s it holding up after 3 months (any lagging issues compared to the stock unit)?

I went with the Q63Pro model and it's definitely worth the purchase! I don't ever see any lagging or connectivity issues with it which is perfect. I use it in the wireless mode daily and it always pairs up within 10 seconds of me turning on the car. However, I have noticed that once my phone disconnects and the head unit is still on, I have to turn the head unit off and then back on once or twice for it to sync back up once I reenter the vehicle. Other than that, the sound quality is great, and I just installed a sub and amp in the car and its sounding great.

The dash coming off above the screens is a recall, call the dealer they have to fix it

really?? i could’ve sworn i saw on a forum somewhere they stopped taking that recall

I think the recall is for the dash material getting sticky, not the lifting

@@noodles_GA Damn I checked my recalls on the mazda website and it said it had a recall for the dash material and the driver seat, I guess the recall is for the mazdaspeed and not the regular mazda3 i 🥲

Dashboard lifted for me and the dealer fixed at no charge thanks to the recall. It was fixed years ago though

Does the aux port in the center console still work?

i’ve actually never tried it kinda never had a use for it since i always used bluetooth and still do but i could try if you want

100% and i’ve also got a 12’’ subwoofer in the trunk now and the headunit seems pretty good keeping up with it
