Installing The Biggest Exhaust Modification For My Manual Toyota Supra!!

👋 Here it is! Time to complete my brand new 2023 manual transmission Toyota Supra and ad the rest of the exhaust system! Let's install the AWE Touring Resonated catback exhaust for the MK5 Supra 3.0! This new exhaust sounds absolutely amazing with the B58 motor. So pumped with the combination of a deep tone and some gurgles! Installing the AWE exhaust for the Supra was pretty straight forward. It's a direct replacement to the factory exhaust and will connect to your factory downpipe or an aftermarket downpipe! I have the MST high flow catted downpipe on my Supra and this connected to it perfectly. I love the 5in chrome tips, they fit in the bumper well and look amazing! The sound of the AWE exhaust is so unique! It's a very deep and aggressive tone and really makes the Supra sound like a proper sportscar. The Supra is so addicting to drive rowing through the gears and listening to this amazing motor roar! Also when driving the Supra like normal, there is no drone and the car really sounds tame. Under throttle the car starts to come alive! And Sport mode still ads a louder tone and the pops and gurgles. While the AWE kit does not utilize an active valve, it really doesn't need it since the engine tuning in Sport mode changes a good amount of the sounds. I really think the AWE exhaust for the Supra is the sweet spot! You can also get an even louder setup without resonators or without mufflers! And paired to a catless downpipe you'll have al the sound! Great exhaust and offers the best tone for the Supra to just make it sound perfect! Thanks again for the video! Followed along on the install of my Catted Downpipe AND the AWE Touring (non-resonated) exhaust! I think the non-res has a bit higher pitch and is more rowdy throughout the rev range but still such an amazing sound. I can't believe how loud this is, while being nearly silent on the highway!

Thats a cool kit from what I've heard. The engine tuning in Sport mode makes it to where the car really doesn't need the valve. Still cool to have a muffler bypass with a valved exhaust. But this one's tone is so good and never had drone so it doesnt seem to need it.

It wont really ad any HP. Tuning and downpipe is where the power comes from. I do plan on putting the car on the dyno like this tho, to see what it's making. Then get into tuning

I ordered mine a few days ago, same model with Active autowerks dp. I also have a 23' Supra. Just curious, does it still pop a lot like it did with just a DP? All i could find on this setup were 2020 models and ofc it pops way more. Love your videos, you inspired me to get this car and build it out.

2020 definitely pops the most. They toned it down after that. But this with the downpipe and exhaust pops enough in sport mode now vs stock!

The engine tuning changes. It's slightly louder and you'll hear the pops and gurgle in sport mode vs normal mode

I see you're putting an AWE exhaust on this Supra too! Good to know you liked it enough to do it twice! Definitely one of the nicer dual exit offerings out there for our cars! Any issues with heat from the exhaust melting the edges of the rear diffuser, especially since you put the tips closer to the edges?

I lined it up better after filming. Showed a quick clip towards the end of this video doing that. But no issues. Fits well and sounds amazing! Very happy with it for sure!

Hey man, great video and car is looking beautiful. Here's my question, what if I only added the exhaust system or vice versa, will it sound the same? Honestly, both items (Catted downpipe, and exhaust) are really expensive, so if I only added one thing, or the other, will it sound about the same? Also, which one is better if I can only afford one item? Please advise

Either one alone will sound great! Really can't go wrong. But you'll definitely like the sound bump regardless of which part you install first. The MST downpipes ship quick! AWE are made to order. So expect 5-7 weeks. But if you order one now we'll get in in ASAP!

Yeah I love the sound of this! I always thought AWE had a unique tone. It sounds so proper and muscular with a deep tone. No drove at all quite honestly with the setup I have. So I'm super happy with it. It's a very different tone then other brands from what I've seen!

It’s safe forever. The ECU can compensate for any changes these parts do and run perfectly. The tune will just let the car take full advantage of the bolt ons

Hey Mike. I just wanted to confirm. This exhaust you bought is the AWE Touring Resonated Edition right which is $2,345. Cause the one you have linked on ur website is a Track edition which is the cheapest but I noticed there was no mufflers on that one. Is this correct?

The Supra. OG M2 is still a great car. But this is much newer with better tech and mechanics. New M2 is right on par with the Supra. A bit faster with better tech. But the Supra handles better and has a better manual.
