Yes I am. I have some fiberglass repairs to make and will be removing all of the old paint in preparation for fresh primer/paint. Thanks for following along.

Do you know where and how the dipstick fits with this set up ? i bought the same pan , my old pan had a whole for the dipstick .. really confused . thanks

Hi, Thanks for watching. On my engine (1998 LS-1) on the passengers side 7" forward of the rear of the block and 1" above the oil pan there is a hole for the dipstick. If yours was in the pan then this hole may have a plug in it that you must knock out. The dipstick tube I used was the one I had and I had to modify it to work with the exhaust manifolds I am using. Anytime you're adapting a different engine into an older car there will always be surprises to deal with. I guess that is what makes it fun.....I think :).
