Installing A New Twin Cam Engine In A Dyna - Vlog 139

Cole's finally back in the shop after taking some time off to welcome his baby girl to the world and get her situated at home. First things first, we have to get his '05 FXDXi back on the road and running properly with the new blonde Twin Cam set up Dustin & Brandi gifted us in the last vlog. Will we get it running before the day is done? You'll have to tune in to find out!

Juan is on the money with the sandwich bags labeled with bolts. That's the way I do it, and I never lose bolts that way. Takes a little extra time but it's way worth it.

Lance, Juan, Cole.... Great video you guys!!!! The anxiety I feel just THINKING of doing this on my bike.... I can't even imagine. I'm an electrician and I'm more than comfortable doing the electrical stuff, but engine stuff, NO THANK YOU! I had my dealership do my 131 Stage 4 on my 2022 RoadGlide, I'm sure I paid way too much, but I'm so happy with it (warranty build). Love the videos.... keep em coming!

Love watching these dyna build videos. I’m really doing something wrong with my attempts to wheelie my ‘04 fxdli… can’t get the front wheel up for the life of me, and here Lance is doing wheelies on Cole’s bike (essentially the same as mine) making it look easier than on a dirt bike.

My opinion has been validated on low rider brakes. Both Kruesi and lance have now commented on how trash the rear brake is on those bikes. Literally thought the one I test drove was messed up because the rear brake barely stopped the bike.

I've ridden my Tsports across the country and into Mexico. MC life, and everyone pretty much rode the same type of Club Style bike. I love my bagger but for stickey situations I liked the club style Dyna's and FXR's.

Maybe you guys could try the bakers compensator I went to the 30 tooth instead of 34 makes quite a difference. Whoever has the slowest bike maybe should try this. It’s like putting the next stage in your bike without touching anything basically!

You guys don’t know that you can’t jumpstart a motorcycle with a automobile with the engine running, this will fry the charging system! You have autos with over a 100 amps, most motorcycles are no higher than 4 amps!
