Watched it again, I ordered my Seibon MB spoiler today. I'll be referencing your video when it is time to install. I too am having mine painted. One question I hope you can answer is what size drill bit did you use? Cheers!

Hi, thanks so much for such an instructive video about the installation of this gorgeous wing. I especially appreciate seeing the very important accessories Seibon provides for a proper installation (plastic stripes for the proper drill location, sealing gaskets), that really does prove distinctive quality over all other wing producers that don't. I just ordered an MT Supra and would really love to install this wing too as soon as it arrives, but I'm struggling over a major concern about how stable and SAFE the fixing of this wing to the trunk is. I mean: when going high speed, especially very high speeds, this wing takes a lot of drag producing strong backward forces on its structure ... is there any risk the drag force can end up ripping this wing away from your trunk? That would clearly be very dangerous on a higway, should the wing fly off the trunk and hit the cars behind could turn so bad ... that scares me a lot, currently preventing me from ordering this wing. Do you have any relevance to share about this matter? It seems noone cares on the net, but I think this should not be ignored ...

No concern regarding that as it's on the end points of the trunk which is reinforced with the additional plastic under the trunk. I have gone 155mph with no issues and normally drive around 100mph with no issues whatsoever.

This looks like the spoiler I want for my 2021 Supra...Great video, easy to follow, thank you! Is there a way to get these pre-painted? My Supra is painted Turbulent Grey...A stunning color in person and I would love to have it pre-painted if at all possible but it looks like it comes in the CF base...Thanks again!

Any issues with rubbing or scratching on the rear quarter panels?? I like the look, but my install guy was worried about fitment. Mainly scratching the rear panels when at speed or closing the trunk.

None from just regular driving but i will say you have to be careful to not let the trunk slam down because it will have enough flex to hit the panel.

@@Ben77788 so in-between the spoiler and trunk it has foam padding. It doesn't need anything for waterproofing though.

Thanks, as far as it being centered it is. You can't really see it from this video but it's measured up. I'm very anal when it comes to stuff like that lol

quesion.....how are you going to open your trunk? isnt the battery in the back?

Same way as always? Lol. It opens just fine, as for the battery yes it's in the rear but you still maintain access to it. The spoiler is extremely light as well.

Never use a drill or impact drill when working with plastic parts.

Hand tools. Cracks the plastic from too much torque. And never over tighten ur 1st 2 bolts. Leave them hand tighten for adjustments and other bolts to be put in so everything lines up

Why not just get a regular spoiler if your painting it the weight difference doesn’t do anything unless your truly racing the car for time and sport
