SVS definitely gives you maximum bang for your buck! My 7.3.4 sound system consists of 6 SVS Ultra Bookshelf speakers (2 for the mains, 2 for the side channels, and 2 for the rears), an SVS Ultra Center speaker, 4 SVS Prime Elevation speakers ceiling mounted using MOUNT-IT! brackets for precise positioning to ensure accurate Dolby Atmos, an SVS SB16-Ultra subwoofer in the rear and 2 SVS SB-3000 subwoofers up front. The system is powered by a Parasound Halo A52+ 5 channel amplifier powering the 5 bedlayer speakers and a Yamaha Aventage RX-A8A AVR powering the rear speakers and the 4 Prime Elevation speakers for Dolby Atmos. Dual AC Infinity AIRCOM T9's keep the amps cool, and all are connected to a Panamax M5400-PM Power Conditioner. The 85" television is a SONY XR-85X90CK. The output power of this 14 speaker 15' X 18' Living Room home theater system is 4,300 watts R.M.S.

Save for the bookshelves and then use the satellite as your surrounds. :-)
@jaseamondo2 жыл бұрын
^^^This is probably your best advice here as your little satellite speakers are not to the same quality as your center, which will give a slight miss match in sound, along with moving speakers further apart and put them on dedicated stands, also pull out your center speaker a bit. All good advice which others have already mentioned.

I think your son agrees. Wait til I start talking I want one in my room Don’t you give that old one away!!!! Hey. That’s mine ok.🔊🔊🔊
@Totalplonker2 жыл бұрын
Considering you only have one subwoofer, you would benefit from doing a thing called a 'subwoofer crawl' which entails placing the subwoofer at your sitting position and crawl around the room to find the deepest bass and then all you have to do is swap positions. Even though I use an audiophile grade Atmos setup, as far as your circumstances are concerned, I think I would give it a miss. Unless one has got the option to turn Atmos channels off, when listening to a 5.1 decoded movie one will be hearing the same signal that's going to the bed layout speakers as do what's going to the Atmos channels! One can get away with it while listening to a 5.1 movie but listening to a 2-channel decoded movie with the height channels on throws the whole soundstage off That's something they don't tell tell you about Dolby Atmos! Thankfully I happen to use a separate poweramp for my Atmos channels, so when am listening to a 2-channel decoded movie (or 5.1 movies) I have the ability to switch my Atmos channels off! But most people don't use a separate power amp for Atmos channels. Hence the reason why most people are not even aware of it! In my experience Atmos is a little overrated anyway! Dolby Atmos Dolby Atmos that, well I've had Atmos since it first came out and I'm still yet to experience this so-called object-based audio, all hear is a separate soundstage added to the original soundstage impressive yes but none of this so-called object-based audio as I was led to believe! If you ask me it's just a Big marketing ploy.😁 but that's just my subjected opinion. Anyway good luck on your home theatre setup. Whatever happens you're going to love the sound of it anyway. In my experience the first proper home theatre is always the best! Enjoy and thanks for posting

Look up some of the Atmos videos produced by JenGalla on yt. She's sitting 7.1 demo clips now
@Totalplonker Жыл бұрын
@@whodunit5621 yeah I've seen Jennifer galas videos before. The channel does an excellent job displaying Atmos, especially if one happens to have a tidal subscription! One can actually go ahead and use the tidal link.. therefore be able to get the full Dolby Atmos experience. Instead of the 2-channel encoded KZbin experience. Mind you... if one happen to be a KZbin subscriber and haven't got tidal one can still get a 5.1 experience. Btw if anyone's reading this and is thinking of going with Dolby Atmos don't let my previous comment put you off. They're is a workaround which I would imagine most people probably uses.. which is turning the TV sound settings to pass through! That way the height channels will display separate ambient sounds. It opens the room up for a 3D enveloping sound.

@@AustinStPierre yeah had mine at 10 as well. I'm using a decent cable from amazon, lots of good reviews.
