I am not a pentax shooter, but to be honest, for an honest review, a reflection would have been good that having to pay for features is an annoying thing the industries trying to creep in (besides any sort of subscription models). Regards the video, this is only about a software update which seems to be a pre requirement but not about the update itself. It would have been interesting to see that process and you could have simply blocked out the QR code ;-)

Actually, that's the entire process. Look at the lower right corner where it says READ UNLOCK KEY. You do that, and you're done. I didn't because I'm not showing a live unlock code on KZbin. I guess I'm puzzled by the question of whether there should be paid new features. Would you rather there weren't any new features? We pay for apps on smartphones and software for our computers. I think its a great thing that a camera I bought a year ago has new functionality available that I can add if I want. Whether this particular feature is worth buying is a separate question, which I will tackle in the review.
