I give you all a bunch of credit for the Sheetmetal work. As a aircraft structural mechanic my pointer is make sure its all clean and use a good primer when painting. Try not to use sealants that are RTV type unless the Aluminum is primed. RTV can be corrosive.

Loving this series and can’t wait to see how the interior comes along! My question is - would you be willing to do a total price breakdown at the end so we can see how viable it would be to renovate our own? I always wondered if it would cost just as much as buying one brand new - but I think being able to renovate it to your own taste and the rewarding feeling of knowing you did it yourself would trump that! 😊

Glad you’re enjoying it! Yeah we were planning on making a cost breakdown video once we’re done. And I agree! Knowing we will have finished this whole project 100% ourselves is worth it in that regard. There are definitely pros and cons to hiring a company vs diy-ing which we can get into in another video
