Ok, I’m currently week long camping trip. Took the Wavlink with me to see if it’ll improve WiFi at the camp sites.

@@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm I got told by wavlink that I need a fire wall on my devices and WiFi and well I can’t afford all of that stuff.

You can connect your WavLink by WiFi or by Ethernet Cable. For best performance, I connect my WavLink with Ethernet Cable to my router. Most router now days are WiFi and Ethernet. Never heard of needing Firewall in order to use WavLink. Anyhow, most, it not all, routers, computers, etc have Firewall built in. You may have to enable it.

What is the wifi range if installed in home outside room. How many square meters area it can cover in buildings area. It’s range may b long in open area but among walls it will be not. Check out

With mine installed outside on the house roof, I get 320' (97.5m) before dropping out. Have it installed inside a house will cut the range drastically. Although, device on house roof can reach my camera 200' (61m) away inside my greenhouse.

Just watched, you are not kidding...I can't get past changing password...it will not except anything i try...They really need to figure this out...lol Thanks for video.

I had the same problem with it not accepting any password I tried. I finally noticed after I would type my password it would add a space at the end of it and it would reject it every time. So my solution was I had to type the new password then delete the space it automatically puts at the very end by hitting the backspace button once. You might see if that is your problem..

I have a problem with the wavlink wifi Repeater AC 1200, when I want to turn it on, 2 blue LEDs from the power turn on and off, the power LED and the signal LED, i.e. LED 1 and LED 6, and the green LED from the poe converter also lights up it also turns off. the above mentioned LEDs turn on and off at the same time. I tried to reset it but it doesn't reset... if you could help me... thank you

Thats a new one for me. Only thing I can think of, it may not be connected to your router. I know on mine, if it's not connected to a router, some of the lights will not come on. Sorry, not much help......
