I have the same 98 white 4Runner. Did you have to lift to get those wheels and tires not to rub?

Yes mine was at 2 inch lift and I got these wheels with 265/70/17 and it was rubbing a bit on full u turns but normal driving straight is fine so I upgraded my lift to 3 inch lift rough country and now no rubs at all, Planning to run some 35s Soon!!

@lorxiong8439 265/70/16 is the biggest tire it will fit without lifting or altering the wheel well.

Sorry for the late reply! And I think yes if they’re 16 then that should be the biggest tire you can fit without lifting your rig! Just recently upgraded mine to 33s and have to cut some stuff but not too much.
