I'm watching from Japan! I'm not sure if it's correct in English or if it's understood because I'm using a translation, but I'll comment. I also ride an Evo 8. This was a very inspiring video!

@alpapa5250 wow Japan friend thankyou for checking out the video. Do you plan on adding the voltex widebody to your evo8?
@alpapa52504 ай бұрын
@@shus369 Hi bro! I'll check it out from now on. It's all about my favorite videos. Voltex recently ordered a rear undertray! I'll put the wide body on hold until I get the courage to do it.

@alpapa5250 that's awesome man, I bought my evo in 2007 so I had it for many years, that's why I decided to cut it and go with voltex body kit.

I wasnt sure about those fenders, but now seeing them in place, they are so insane. Absolutely awesome! A more aggressive carbon wing would really finish this thing out perfect!
@shus369 Жыл бұрын
It does give the Evo a more aggressive look. There is another piece you can add to the rear voltex fenders to widen it even more.

I just got my Evo 9... and who ever installed these it... WOOF, wish they did it like this haha. Used thick black body glue to fill space, rattle canned them plack so they look like autozone bolt ons.

You can get both weather strips brand new from Mitsubishi for around $150 ($300 for the pair). They come with all of the clips needed, it’s worth it!

just subscribed brotha - nicely coming along. Im currently restoring a rusted evo 9 and the rear qtr panel has bad rust so just makes sense to go this route as well. Quick question - what front fenders are you running? I like that setup better than the voltex current ones

Welcome to the channel bro. I have the seibon carbon front fenders.

The sad part is that you have to cut up the body panels, vortex should have comes up with some solution for it, most evo owners are definitely hesitating to install, since the factory panels are very hard to get, in case of any mind change, and seems challenging job to undo those cuts
@shus369 Жыл бұрын
It hurt to cut the car but every time I see an Evo with the rear fenders it makes me want then so bad. I finally decided to do it and I don't regret it. 🙂👍

Fenders dont require cutting... larger wheel/tire combos do. Can get away with not cutting.

Nice work BRO,I HAVE A 2005 EVO AND WOULD LIKE TO DO THE SAME💯💯💯💯💯💯

Thankyou man, if you do decide to do it make sure to take your time 👍

Wait hol up, is this the only to way to install the fenders? If it is I would never 😬
@shus3692 ай бұрын
@FulanFulan22 you don't need to cut your rear but the point of wide body fenders is to fit a much wider wheel and tire without rubbing. You could do it for looks but no point in that.

Same brotha, but I had it for such a long time that I needed to do something different and I always liked the way the voltex kit looks.
