when I was a teenager, installing fiberglass wide body kits, wide tires-rims on Datsun 240, 260 and 280 Z's was popular thing to do with the road racing genre, and some installed a small block chevy V8. This wide body install on the Mustang upgrade looks superb !

You don't normally use stainless for patches. It doesn't weld the same as mild steel.

Great job guys, looks amazing. However.. there's no way i could bring myself to cut my S550 like that.. One tip for anyone doing this kind of work.. ALWAYS cover your glass when grinding or welding. The sparks will burn onto the glass and ruin it.

А что вы сделали с пластиковыми стенками вокруг передних колёс? При поворотах колёса будут упираться ребром в них. П.с. ему понадобятся супер жёсткие койловеры чтоб ездить на 3ёх дюймовых спэйсерах. И это нездоровая тема для подшипников.

did you leave the edges of the metal raw or did you seal it up with something?

Why didn't you just use the inner well and weld it back up? You would have kept the structural integrity of the car. Looks great though.

Two dissimilar metals will cause corrosion. That's sheetmetal 101. I'm surprised no sealant was placed on the fasteners for precation prior to placing them in the holes. Good stuff though...this is how it's supposed to be done!
