UI : Yes Windows 7 is better Sounds : Nope. Windows 7 sounds aren't best. Windows xp still do it better Core : Windows 7. Windows 7 is newer than XP and also Windows xp latest service pack is released on 2008 while Windows 7 latest service pack is released on 2011. 3 years gap. Not too bad
