I'm so glad I found your channel. I've tried to come up with a home made coffee drink that comes close to the ones I buy at the store and never could get the thicker feel of the drinks I like. The key is the condensed and evaporated milks in your recipes. I now can make my own and it tastes great!

Ahh, that's good to know. I hate spending the amount of money they charge at those places so it's great to know I can make my own. Because I'm a hobby baker I always have both milks in my cupboards. I also have a jar of instant coffee that I barely use but needs to be (only used it when I made chocolate cakes but now that I have a jar of Expresso it hasn't been touched). Instead of the ice cubes I'd go with crushed ice and in place of the milk foam I'd use whipped cream. Playing with different flavors then those shown here would be fun too... 😋

Try adding a tiny amount of Xanthum gum (a knife point) and stick blend the wet ingredients. It really gives a thicker and nicer texture

I did a class on these 5 drinks for my clients at our local crisis pregnancy center... for my July 2022 "cooking class", and I have had a request to do this again next month, in June 2024! This would be a HUGE fundraiser idea as so many people drink these iced coffee drinks and my clients were excited to know how to make this at home. To tell the truth, I figured up amounts to use two cans of condensed milk to one can evaporated milk and make up enough instant coffee and creamer to match this milk syrup, of course adding the syrup to it for flavor and sweetness.... and this has been in a 5 liter fridge dispenser for the past two years... YEAR round!! My husband is hooked on this instead of iced tea, as well as myself. Even filling the fridge dispenser all the way to the top with water, we still dilute this for our cups of ice. One of these mixtures lasts about a week in the summer, and about 10 days in the winter.
