oh this bug ive seen it with hopper chains where you run items down them and when it gets to the end it unlocks a set of hoppers underneath and sometimes all the items go through each hopper underneath and sometimes they dont its one nasty bug

@Xcom6000 We can't upvote the bug reports if you don't link it to us. There are too many bugs reports on the Minecraft JIRA to just browse through them to find the ones you make videos about.

Is this still how hoppers function as of 1.15.2? Also, it was a great explanation and I'd love to see similar explanations for droppers/dispensers.

15:17 Its not hard to setup, i put the hoppers in the same order, block them, put items in 2nd slot, put items to transport, and unlcok hoppers at the same time Also i tested the four directions and works too (can't grab item in 1st slot) Am I misunderstanding something??

Thats an interesting way to instant hopper. But the order is dependant on hash order after re-load. Try re-loading the area and see if it still works.
