A bit chewy and bathed in a spicy gochuchang sauce, but they took the spicy sauce from the chicken noodle and put it in this new crazy noodle. MUST TRY!!

I'm eating a bowl of the Samyang right now. It's maybe 20% too spicy for me but I love the rice cakes and flavor - the chewiness is great. They are $2.25 at my local store and I might just pick up a few more :)

Ive tried both of these flavours.... My problem with these is actually how Freakin’ Spicy they are!!! 🥵🌶🌶🌶 To the point where my throat felt like burning up & my tongue numb. Which was really a darn shame bcuz the flavours taste nice but i just Cant handle how Hot 🌶 it is.

Yeah I am literally eating that a few mins ago and I am like is it the way I am suppose to cook it so I came to search it on KZbin and bam it is but the sauce is so liquidy which is different from the image and what I assume it would be the rice cake as stated yep it’s a bit hard but I will rate it a 5/10 :))

boil the topokki in water. Once it gets soft, drain more than half the water and add the sauce. Don't turn off the heat yet and stirr. Done. This method is actually better because they turn out soft. Most people who microwave ended up with hard too chewy ones (me included)

You can't trust the cooking instructions. Pat boiling water in and then microwave for 2-3 minutes.

@@vlogswithjaydababy3841 maybe i can help you :D i love it too but always make only the half of the souce in it add a slice of cheese i dont know what it is called the cheese that is already realy sloppy :'D and often on toast xD then i add some cream /milk and i love to eat it with an uhm suny side up egg ? xD ( sorry my english is bad :'D but maybe it can help you with the spicyness ^^ i cant eat it the normal way its to hot but in this way it is fine :D it is still hot but way more eatible for me ^^

To the black container, I like to add about a teaspoon of hondashi to the hot water before adding it to the container. After cooking an addition of mozzarella cheese really brings the flavors together. Dont forget to add spring onions.

I like spicy but the noodles have always been too much for me. Although I find the rice cakes are much more bearable, probably because there's less sauce - to - "noodle" ratio with the cakes? I recommend them! (oh and I also add a touch more water and cook for an extra 30 second or 1 min seconds for that softer texture, I noticed once the dish cooled down the noodles firmed up a little too)

I'm pretty sure if you just cook it in a small pot with the water & let it cook, check on it until the texture is as soft as it should be or as you like, then drain a bit a water, leave in a bit to make the sauce & throw in the mix ins, BAM!

Dude I had that sauce for instant ramen and I just couldn't. There was no taste first of all, the sauce was way too spicy for me, and I only used 2/3 the package. I advise a couple drops haha

tteokbokki is actually not noodles, its made out of rice and it's called rice cakes in english ps, if you don't have a microwave you can cook it in a pan
