@@Pattys1967 I had to do sausage parm first, couldn't resist. Then spaghetti and meatballs. And since we got the Duo Crisp Air Fryer 8 qt model...air fried Snickers! Next will be plain pasta to get more familiar with the unit, and then Polynesian Pineapple Chicken.

Quick Tip: To easily and thoroughly get tomato paste out of the can, open both ends of can letting lids stay in place then press on one end all the way thru can to push out all the paste!!
@lorrietarsa16564 жыл бұрын
Melaney Mattson I used to do it this way. Now I have a can opener that releases the seal of the lid from the can so my covers can’t push through anymore. Great tip!

I remove one lid, then press the second lid through the can to remove the paste, then remove the second lid from the stack of paste in the pot.

Hey Jeffery. for the tomato paste, if you open both ends then remove the lid from one side, you can push the lid from the other side through. it will clean the sides of the can as it goes through.

Me as a mexican die a little inside every time someone calls a bent tostada a "taco shell" or ground meat "taco meat", god dammit, it's basically the only meat we almost never eat in a taco unless we have picadillo and decide to use a tortilla as a "bread" or do real tacos (soft tortilla). Other than that, the recipe looks yummy, I would like to try it out

This is almost my Aunt Natalie's recipe. Hers was from the 1960s and didn't have the bottled barbecue sauce and hoisin sauce, but instead it had brown sugar and vinegar...and used Campbell's tomato soup. I loved it as a kid, but not so much now. Yours seems more on the savory side, so I'd be more likely to try it -- without the pickle relish and maybe without the hoisin.
