Jeff...this recipe is insane, full stop! I've made many of your IP recipes (you inspired me to cook) but my family went WILD over this one. I'm married to an Italian and she has stove-cooked variations of this in the past, but they don't come close to this.. Not trying to be overly dramatic, but this recipe has to be in your top 3. It's ridiculously good and if you follow it to spec, the pasta turns out perfect. Thank you, thank you. Just incredible.

I made this recipe this evening. Oh man, was it awesome! Great recipe. I used the zest from all three lemons (tossed it in with the juice) and used chili powder instead of cayenne. Thank you!

Made this yesterday....top two pasta dishes I’ve ever made. Used sweet Italian sausage instead of spicey and added Boursin (shallot and chives) to the final product. Every bit a 9-10 in taste test. Fresh lemons 🍋 really make the difference. Only thing I found different from the video is the linguine has to cook 9 mins.....Jeff said 6 mins, but they weren’t done at that point. Great pasta dish !!! Thanks Jeffrey.

Made this for my first meal in my new Instant Pot. I burned the shallots first time so reduced cooking to 1.5 min. Reduced garlic to 1 Tbsp. Used chicken hot Italian sausage. This was a hit. The pasta was perfectly cooked. Thank you!

I just made this last night (for me, hardest thing was chopping the shallots) and I gotta say you weren't overreacting. It's amazing and really does taste like something you'd have at an upscale bistro. I promised my neighbor I would be bringing some over (there's 3 of them) and now I almost regret it. LOL. I had two helpings the first night, then packed up theirs and still had two smaller portions left for myself. I plan on making it again in a week and freezing it - any suggestions about freezing it or reheating would be welcome! Thanks for another winner Jeffrey; love to you and love to your better half and Banjo (I wait for his appearances, haha).

these amazing recipes are so easy and fun to prepare and way easier and faster than going out for even jack in the box. after searching for my purse keys and shoes then driving to wherever and waiting for the drive through to get to me and praying they don't screw up my order with lettuce on my sandwich and forgetting my husbands fries completely i make it home for a semi warm dinner. Its always over n hour. cooking this whole meal preptime and all takes less time and its such a warm bonding moment to cook with my family. we all get some great satisfaction of a job well done and can taste the love infused in every meal. thankyou for some fun recipes.

Made this tonight at the last minute. No mushrooms, so I used a couple of bell peppers instead. Only had 2 lemons and ...everything else the same as the called for recipe. Turned out Amazing !!! This is the best PL recipe so far !! The lemons and Parmesan cheese some how combine to make a taste I can only describe as out of this world !! You have to try this.

I made it that night and had everything except the heavy cream, so I used sour cream instead and that worked fine. I also used the garlic bouillon. I can understand now why you were jumping and barking and making all sorts of noises at the end, because IT. REALLY. WAS. THAT. GOOD. !!!!

Jeffery, I made this last night and it’s definitely a winner. After pressure cooking, the mushroom and shallots just melt in and become part for the sauce. Another right-on pasta dish. Thanks a bunch. Delicious.

Oh my goodness! So now I’ve tried 6 recipes you’ve shared on KZbin and all have been amazing BUT this - this one KNOCKS DELICIOUSNESS OUT OF THE PARK! I added the chopped up roasted red pepper suggestion after the quick release. The color makes it so pretty on the plate, even though taste is more important ;). Thank you for this one - so very quick and easy. It takes pasta and sausage to a whole new level. I did the 4th lemon too - can never have too much lemon!

This came out amazing! Used hot Italian turkey sausage and the cayenne with red pepper flakes and it’s just the right amount of spice. She hates cooked spinach and still devoured this. You don’t even notice the spinach but adds nice color. Cut in half since it’s just my wife and I and it’s enough for two separate meals. You killed this recipe!

I made this tonight, with some substitutions. I used mild sausage. I didn't have linguini, but I did have fettuccine. I only had one lemon, so I added a bit of dry white wine to add some flavor. I also left out the mushrooms since I despise them 😜. Added about a half cup of shredded mozzarella too. It was really good. The family loved it.

My Instant Pot is pressure cooking as I write this comment. I already know it is going to be a winner. I did make one slight revision. I added an eight ounce jar of rough chopped Mezzetta sun dried tomatoes to the mix just before I added the linguine. I am sure that it will add that special touch both in flavor and color to an already spectacular dish. Many thanks Jeffrey. Jeffrey from Oregon
@greeneyes63115 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a great addition!
@TheDuckbacker5 жыл бұрын
It turned out better than I expected. One thing I would do differently is to drain the tomatoes on paper towels before rough chopping them in order to remove the added oil. The brininess and sweetness of the sun dried tomatoes put it over the top.
@greeneyes63115 жыл бұрын
@@TheDuckbacker Read my updated comments on how mine came out, changes, etc. Glad yours turned out so delish, I might chop up a few sun-dried tomatoes in my version next time but it was absolutely delicious as is!

This looks great! Love sausage and mushroom together. One suggestion - you could try browning the sausage first and using the leftover fat to sauté the shallot and mushroom instead of adding so much additional oil.

Hi Jeff. I can’t wait to try this. I’ve tried other. You are fantastic!!! Can you please please do a video for scalloped potatoes and ham. My mom used to make this. It was her mother’s recipe and the recipe is sadly gone. She never used cubed ham which is what I see in every recipe. She used thinly sliced ham. I just can’t find. I know you can do it 😃
