An illegal shift or motion ( because players weren't set at snap) is NOT a dead ball foul. Therefore it was a live ball when KC recovered it. KC has the privilege in that case to decline or accept the penalty. Which they smartly declined. Those are the rules.. Its only emotions that are clouding this. The Center (rookie) snapped the ball prematurely. Period

I get that but watching the game the ref came running in blew the whistle and signaling false start. Right there i mean seems like you know the rules as soon as that ref ran in blowing the whistle the play is dead, and before i get called a hater, im hoping the raiders lose out to get the best pick they can. But guarenteed if role was reversed and ref came in calling the false start and blowing play dead im pretty sure you would be sounding like some of the raiders fans you calling haters.

Remember Kansas City had three fatal dropped passes and was in the red zone numerous times and failed to capitalize with touchdowns, this was the differance and the reason the game was even close to begin with. Most teams don't play every single second of the game like Kansas City and they choke in the big moments. the raiders had nothing to lose or gain, you play different when that is the case.

DJ Duffle, With all due respect, there were 5 seconds left on the clock to snap the ball. They had no timeouts left. Michael Mayer was trying to get the receiver outside of him to back off the line. AP and AOC both said the play was to throw the ball out of bounds to take another 4 or 5 seconds off the clock and then kick the field goal. By doing “ice cream” with 5 seconds left to snap the ball, you’re basically saying that the plan was to take a delay of game penalty and turn it into a 55 yard field goal attempt instead of a 50 yarder. No. They weren’t trying to see what the defense was doing. What they should have done in that situation was let the clock run down to 8 seconds and then spike the ball to kill the clock. Then have the Field Goal team go out on the field and kick the field goal. That’s what a Bill Walsh coached team or a Bill Parcells coached team or a Bill Belichick coached team would have done. The play before, Abdullah catches the ball and he should have run straight out of bounds. Then you still have 2 plays and 35 seconds on the clock to gain another 10 or 15 yards to make it an easier kick. Instead, Abdullah doesn’t go out of bounds and they end up killing the clock at 15 seconds. AP was so worried about giving Mahomes any time that he tells them to run a dummy play to throw the ball out of bounds to run another 4 or 5 seconds off the clock. The receivers couldn’t get lined up properly, Aidan is looking at the receivers, Parham doesn’t look back at the QB to make sure he’s ready to go and then tap JPJ. It’s inexperience, it’s over complicating things, it’s not following protocol and it ultimately cost them a chance to win the game. Simplicity over Complexity. Situational football. The Raiders suck at it. That’s why they lost the game. Period. It wasn’t JPJ that made the error. The first error was Abdullah not running out of bounds. The second error was killing the clock with 15 seconds left. The third error was AP deciding to run a throw away play to run off another 4 or 5 seconds off the clock. Which caused confusion and chaos to get lined up properly for the throw away play. The fourth error was Parham tapping JPJ without looking back at the QB to make sure he was ready to receive the snap. Each error compounded the next error until you get self-destruct mode. The good head coaches around the league will use this as teach tape of situational awareness of what not to do at the end of a game for years to come. All of the good things that the Raiders did up until that point of the game were all rendered obsolete by not knowing how to finish a game winning drive properly. THE END.

Regarding Ameer Abdulah's last catch , he couldn't run out of bounds, if you look at the tape when he caught the ball , he turned around and his balance was off and he stumbled forward. Nevertheless I agree on your analysis on killing the clock to 4 seconds and kick the field goal, instead of running another play ......... Because another play so called a ( ( dummy play ) just to kill 5 or 6 seconds doesn't make sense when you could of done it without running another play.

Never should have wasted money on Gardner, used money on online men, should of resigned Jacobs, never should have hired Luke Getsey, AOC should have been our starter day one, JPJ should have been replaced trashcan center we been saying garbage. DA doesn't leave with AOC playing IDC what no one says, he kept saying he wanted to play for a QB he knows. Coo out of Gardner not it, he just wouldn't say it. I say trade back to a desperate team and grab a LT and more. We balled with tons of starters out injured you can't tell me this team not full of fighters and dawgs.

What makes him proud is that a team that is 2-9 fought a team that is expected to win at what 10-1 or 11-1, and still fought hard enough to take a game where they trailed against the defending Super Bowl Champs when no one thought that they had a chance to even compete against them, and only lost due to a botched snap with fifteen seconds left. It's about how much you fight against odds that are against you. They weren't expected to even show up at the stadium, and yet they fought until the end. They stood up to an incredible challenge. You're a surfer. How high would a wave have to be to challenge you?

That description flies in the face of what AP said. It could happen that way but that wasn’t it this time. AP said they wanted one more pass play just to burn time to a minimum. Then on 4th down kick the FG. 15 seconds, kick the FG on third and you leave kc 11 seconds to drive the field. If our defense can stop them twice on 3 & out just before this- why are you panicking over 11 seconds? Yes deadball penalty so obviously the NFL is still cheating to push their narrative through the refs. Look at the reaction not just of the Raiders on the field but the chief players. None of them ran off the field celebrating. None of the KC offense came running on the field cheering. Everyone confused except the refs who knew… I enjoyed the WWE in the 70’s along with NFL. Why the NFL is looking more and more like the WWE is really an interesting thing. Tom TUCK Brady says “yes it was a fumble”. He didn’t know the fix was in. Refs don’t need the players to cheat. In a game of inches when refs give yards or refuse to give yards when we all see them holding Maxx over half the plays… The NFL needs to just let them play and put a system in place that calls ALL the penalties or none of them.

As reported: on an illegal shift, the play is “NOT” ruled dead. The offense still must complete the play and the defense can decline the illegal shift penalty if they have a better outcome as in a sack or turnover. The Raiders were lickin their chops... & you know the rest of the story.

They had no timeouts so the Raiders weren’t going to run another play for gained yards without the ability to stop the clock so instead AP wanted to run a dummy play to throw the ball out of bounds to kill another 4 or 5 seconds off the clock and to reset the play clock so Carlson wasn’t rushed for that game winning FG but a series of events that led up that point worked against the Raiders and AP’s choices that actually not having any Timeouts not even one left in AP’s back pocket was devastating and his management of the game at the final portion of the game is has Achilles and he has done this (not having TO’s) a few times of all the games he coached in so far.
