Meanwhile Aididas, European League, LPGA and her speaking appearances alone are feasting on WNBA ineptness. Silver should be firing the CEOs, and blind referees of the WNBA. Caitlin is now joining Nelly Korda, who won 5 consecutive LPGA tour tournaments earlier this year, to play in "The Annika Tournament"; an LPGA tournament named after arguably the best-ever LPGA golfer to ever step on to a golf course. Annika also won 5 consecutive tournaments on the LPGA back in 2005. She was also getting invites to PGA tour tournaments back then - she was just that good. Anyway, unlike the WNBA, other professional sports associations do know how to do effective marketing that lifts all people involved without including gang violence.

I wonder what the good players ,not the haters think about what the wnba and the haters and bad call no call reffs has done to the wnba, and their futures. They had a chance to grow and thrive and blew it big time. The sad thing about ii is why it happened. What do all the young ladys getting autographs from caitlin think about it all. The wnba decided to turn to the soap opera marketing and let it flow instead of building a great bunch of basketball teams making lots of good history and money instead of a soap opera.

The light shines the brightest in darkness. God continue to bless CC22 in all that she sets her heart to achieve. Also bless the LPGA for appreciating and accepting her even if it’s for one day!

Caitlin’s the bomb-diggity. She’s the whole package: not only unbelievably talented, she’s poised, classy, smart, and a a lady to boot. She doesn’t lecture her fans or try to tell us who to vote for, or that it’s ok to let our children be sterilized or mutilated. Bravo, bravo, bravo, Caitlin.

I agree with all the comments I see here. My question is that I keep on hearing comments she signed up with a European league and then hear other comments that she is still in the WNBA. I don't know what to believe. Lovely to see her not only enjoying herself in the golf but to have that association support and love her in the way they have.

Marketing incompetence, definitely agree, as well as budget refs that are too scared to call fouls every time she's assaulted for the fear of looking like giving favoritism... Get real refs! CC has made people actually give a s*** about the w jussst enough where it's time to do so... Every girl guarding her goes extra hard to not become a highlight so she gets fouled more, I don't know why that's so tough to comprehend

Before Caitlin Clark, I had NEVER watched a WNBA game. Now I wouldn't miss a game that she plays in. She's an amazing player who makes everyone on her team be more successful. I've NEVER watched a single golf event either but might see my 1st one if Caitlin is teeing off.

Good for her, and the LPGA. I hope CC goes back to WNBA if that's what she loves to do, but after the WNBA has an entire makeover in leadership.

Fact is - women's golf is a fantastic product and worth watching. As a golf enthusiast I'm truly happy to see how far women's golf has come and really excited to see how many young girls are picking up the game. When I go to our local driving range it's nearly 50/50 male and female. Dads with their daughters, young ladies making a fun night out, Mom's and Dads practicing their game together.

The WNBA gets their funding from the NBA so there’s no need to worry about marketing as we can clearly see when they have an opportunity they cared less about it. Hopefully the WPGA treats, Kaitlyn the way she deserves.

I consulted for the LPGA 17 years ago, and convinced them with my economic simulations of actual markets on a revised set of strategies to turn their self-destructive paths around, which they did without changing their basic mission statement. They certainly did turn things around, and this was just another demonstration of the NEW LPGA''s nimble response to opportunity while still serving their many constituencies. The WNBA remains stuck in reverse (like so many other dysfunctional organizations).

I am a 25 year marketing professional/executive. Either the WNBA's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) needs to get fired or the WNBA's Commissioner needs to get fired. No other option.

This is how you treat good people ! You don’t trip them, you don’t flail your arms around and accidentally hit her in the head , You don’t poke her in the eye ! You don’t hip check her when the ball is not even in play ! And if you’re the commissioner you don’t sit on your ass and let this happen , you suspend and fine the ones involved, you just do your job ! You fire the Refs that are not calling the games fairly ! CAITLIN DON’T DESERVE TO BE TREATED THE WAY WNBA IS TREATING HER ! She has done nothing but try to play ball and have fun, you people have treated her like trash ! What’s your point you don’t like white skin she had no control of that , no more than any other person on this planet ! Wake up this is discrimination the thing you all have been trying to have stopped all your life, And now you’re in the thick of it by discriminating yourselves ! LGPA Thank you for showing the world how to be classy to someone that just wanted to play your game and have fun , and introduce players in your sport to the rest of us that just like to be around when CAITLIN is playing any sport, she is really talented and a classy young Lady ! And Thanks For Not Beating Her Up During The Game !
