Such a class act J. I was curious to who you were going to show with the “bad” example, and low and behold you don’t throw anybody under the bus. The cheaters gameplay was perfect, they are exactly the people who can be made into examples! Side note: you mentioned that pre aim when he ADS’s into that little building @11:00 and the guy was on the other side of the wall maybe another 50 M directly behind where he was aiming. THAT was the key moment that really confirmed the cheats (of course the entire match was pretty odd as well) Really like the centering video.

If you use "," and "." on your keyboard you go frame by frame on KZbin, and the left and right arrow keys go back or skip 5 seconds respectively. This helps see exactly where the crosshair placement is.

I used to be into competitive Halo and the tips I always heard from better players was reticle placement and map awareness. You never really realize how important it is until you start consciously doing these things and I noticed I started improving rapidly, works for every FPS too.

Centering is key! I always try to remind my squad if I'm ever spectating them and I notice they're looking at the ground, which is a lot of the time lol. They've gotten better but still end up looking at the ground quite a bit 🤷

I've struggled with this a lot on controller and I realized I would keep my crosshairs angled slightly down so that less of my screen was obstructed. Making a conscious effort to keep them more centered definitely helps.

I'm the same way. My centering is better on mouse compared to controller. Had my KD go from 1.60 to 2.03 just by playing more aggressive and changing some settings around and changing perks. But definitely gonna try these tips out. My aim is accurate, and movement isn’t the best but it’s good enough to win most gunfights.

There's another way of boosting your KD which I've noticed has been taken up by most COD players in my lobbies now, it's called camping! They do it in buildings, usually the taller the better. They use these new weapons called snipers, and then proceed to get 'acquainted' with the room! They hang out there for longer than it takes Raven to develop an anti-cheat

I love both positioning and aggresive playstyles, but seeing comments like this is cringe. After all this is a BR game and the map is huge, it s natural for people to camp in order to survive. Just appreciate the variety of playstyles and if you don't like it go play multiplayer tdm, ffa etc.

There is a difference between camping and holding a power position... Campers dont usually do anything apart from maybe get in the top 10 but cant win the game because all players are warmed up and battle hardened by that point that campers dont win those gunfights at the end... The other ones usually win games

Idk what can be done about campers other than complain about them. In gun games especially like warzone, positioning is simply the easier path to winning the game. Thus, camping is incentivized.

You bring up valid points to consider, but the reason *I* personally don't center *all* the time is for peripheral vision/target acquisition. Aiming too high without a good sight/muzzle/recoil control is also susceptible to drop shots.

I find on console I aim low because the FOV being low makes the gun on your screen bigger. So aiming low allows more of the terrain at normal height to be visible

the centering thing is not a mistake in all situations, for example, sometimes u cant see the target if u are full centered. I think the low crosshair for console players can be explained with FoV. Most console players dont have a wide FoV and has to look down to read loot. So you just stay aiming down to quick read loot.

I feel like some people think this is easy, but trust me this is more complicated then you think. You also have to take in muscle memory, map awareness, map knowledge, reaction speed, and so many more factors. The people who center their crosshair correctly have played a lot because they know how to properly peak, where to peak, how people usually act/ react, and usually tendencies of players. This might all seem like a lot, but it all comes with playing the game more and more. Though I really do not want to play the game anymore because of the hacks, crashes, glitches, and other stuff.

I'm not gonna lie. I watched JGOD's first 'centering' tutorial a while ago and it has helped tremendously. My KD went from about 1.0 to 1.5 - which doesn't SEEM like a lot, but it is. At least, for the average player. I'm still getting wiped by better players (that will never magically change) but I am also having more 2.0 - 3.0 KD games with 25+ kills, so it balances out. What really pisses me off is when I am running with a 28 ping, target an enemy, fire first and magically, my bullets change into marshmallows and I get turned on and killed. That's just how it is sometimes, tho. Especially on console (PS5) The point is, DON'T GIVE UP. If you're struggling with the game, follow tutorials like this one, as well as others. WATCH THE GAMEPLAY. See how they run the map, which corners to focus on, where to throw lethals, etc. and (and this one really helped me out) - watch your killcams. See how you died. Did you not center a corner? Did you not fire WHILE going ADS (as opposed to seeing a close - midrange enemy and going ADS before taking a shot), was your aim just off? Did you challenge a gunfight you should have ignored? Lean from your own mistakes. And MOST OF ALL, remember that no matter how much better you get, you WILL have games that just trash you. There will always be players better than you. Peace.

While I wouldn’t say the preaim in the first clip was good, it wasn’t that bad. If you had had your reticle at chest height someone could’ve crouched around the corner and the Mac-10’s iron sights might’ve blocked them.

This is great! Does anyone think it might have something to do with FOV (I'm on PS5)? When I focus on centering, it typically means pulling my reticle "up" just a bit (a lot like JGOD did at the start). I feel like since the gun model takes up space and I'm so zoomed in at 80 FOV, I tend to keep it a little lower to see more of what's in front of me.

I think keyboard and mouse cross hair placement tends to be better because it just takes less effort, I guess that's the word I'm looking for, to move the mouse a little and recenter where on controller moving the stick is more deliberate movements in my case anyways and I think that comes from years of playing games on console I move my stick on controller way less than I end up moving my mouse when I'm playing m&k which is all the time these days.
