I seen this camera on a hanging from a girl neck. Struck a conversation from a photography fan perspective. She was telling me it cost around $250 plus. Time to scrape pennies and scrap metal because I love it(camera). Thanks for review!

Many people actually approached me as well asking about the camera! It's a little pricey but with the features it comes with and the fact that you basically don't need to waste film makes it worth every penny!

Do you miss the unpredictability and excitment of not knkwing how a photo will turn out like what you get with the mini 11? Im so torn which camera to get and thats the one thing thats making me unable to deicde. I love that you wont waste film with the evo, but also capturing beautiful moments and excited for the reveal is magical too

This was my dilemma too!! I have an evo in the mail but I went back and forth for so long whether to upgrade to it or stick with my instax mini 8. But I think why I decided to go with it is due to the fact I have had many wasted films it must be nearly two whole packs in the 6 years of having it. I'm so excited for the evo though :D

​@zozybb ahh that's awesome!! I really hope you love the evo! I've actually gone for a different one, rhe sq1! I realised I actually love the retro looking square style cuz it feels a bit more like the classic polaroids and I thought the uniqueness of the photos was really special to me so I went for that :) I've got the camera, just waiting for my films to arrive (I ordered 60 for £37 from urban outfitters!) So I can't wait to use it! I thought I'd rather try this first and in a few years if I don't enjoy it I could maybe upgrade to the evo or something but I'm praying I'll love it :)

Hello!! Thanks for the video)) Don't you know, over time, Polaroids don't break down? I know that the white frame can crumble after a couple of years. Maybe now film cartridges are of much better quality and won't be damaged?

before taking the photo, go to menu > date and time :) as she said, you can only place the date on the photos taken by the camera, not the ones you send from your phone

I personally have never used the LiPlay but from what I know is that the film from the Evo turns out better in terms of colors and better overall exposure!

Hi Marta, what would happen if you remove the cartridge with some film on it, and you put it back again on the camera? Is there a setting for that?

Hey! Once you remove the cartridge with film still in it it will be destroyed. Once sunlight hits the film will not be usable anymore so its highly recommended to just use up the film that’s in the camera before opening it up!

I think it depends on your preference! One is really in the moment and a surprise on how the picture turns out and the other one you have control over on which one to print and you can even print photos from your phone

It's a setting on the camera! You can turn it on and then it will automatically add to your pictures 😊

Hi, what’s your experience about battery life? I bought one that wasnt fully charging and I get it replaced. The first one only charged for about 15/20 minutes and the second one charges for more or less one hour (not the three hours said in the manual) and then the red led goes off. I think the battery life is really poor and disapointing. It operates for a few hours and then dies. It’s a shame because I love the camera a lot. Major issue to me. In some pictures the bottom shows some not very distinctive lines but they are there. Minor issue to me this one. Navigaton/buttons not very intuitive but we get used to it. For the rest no complaints at all. It’s an experience. Not to be compared with a regular digital camera.

Hey! Sorry to hear that! My experience with battery life has been good actually - whenever I take it out for the day I always make sure I charge but I actually went around NYC for 3 days without charging it and it stayed good! I also don't have the line problem so it might be that you got a defect model or something idk! I have been truly loving it and have no complaints about it at all 😊
