I have SD beads and seed beads and have been practicing RAW and CRAW for a awhile now but I would have never thought to turn the SD's into a nice RAW bracelet. Oh the ideas now. Thank you for the inspiration.

just thought of an elegant variation. when it's done, go back through the unused holes on the sides, and add crystals between the superduos

Is there a benefit to working with short rows instead of doing 3 rows the length of the bracelet?

It’s up to you how you’d like to work it. I like to work from one side to the other so I can leave one tail at the beginning for that end of the clasp and then when I determine my length on the other side I’m all ready to add the clasp. But depending on how many rows you are doing you could go back and forth and still end up with the same result.

Thanks for a great tutorial - I was wondering could I replace the seed beads with 3mm crystals instead

Sonia Campbell I think if you replaced the seed beads with 3mm crystals then the SuperDuos would not line up correctly. The spacing needs to be really precise when working with 2-hole beads and I think the larger (compared to seed beads) crystals would throw off the spacing. Always feel free to experiment though, sometimes you arrive at the best results by playing around.

makemywayman There is a point before you pay that will tell you how much the shipping and the cost. If at that time you think it's too much or better yet you can afford more beads you can delete it all or shop more with no penalty to you. I hope that helps.
