@8:47 how did hundreds of lamp wires only become six under the planking at the mid ship keel?? Many black and reds are spooled together but appear to not be attached to any future electrical source.

Hull planking. It feels like it goes on forever. Is the stand a temporary or final stand for the model?

That stand is just a working base, the black acrylic exhibition base shown in promo videos is included with the model.
