@@LearningtheHarp Thanks for asking. Indeed, I adore harp and studied a little in my university years. I own and run an artist development firm/conservatory coaching musicians and actors and also record and perform as classical and jazz pianist .. So that keeps me pretty busy. Also as you know the best classical pedal harps are expensive and though sure I could rent or learn on a smaller harp, I will need to wait for my schedule to relax considerably. But not complaining. I love my coaching work and own my own business. I esp love the French rep for harp. Ravel's Introduction and Allegro is my fav. I already teach a plethora of instruments: all keyboard, violin, viola, mandolin and of course voice. Thanks enjoyable watching you.

After reading some of the comments. I'm glad it's 3 hrs long (I don't have to keep rewinding). I can put it on big screen when we have company and set it low for back ground music like have the viewers at a real concert. This is so perfect and it's not just a rolling fireplace screen, it's 3 hrs of many songs (not repeats unless I let it play). Great job

Absolutely breathtaking! How did you play with such perfection in one take?! Incredible talent! One of my cats was about to have a meltdown (he literally has a split personality disorder where if he's triggered he goes feral for days... it's horrific) and I'm playing this and it's soothing him. He's normally my sweet, derpy baby, but he's been through a lot of trauma (abandoned multiple times), and we have a whole protocol for keeping him sane. Adding this to his KZbin emergency playlist! I just found this, Christy-Lyn. Absolutely superb playing! It looks like you are reading the sheet music from the iPad or computer from which you’re recording the video? I don’t see any sheet music in front of you. I can’t imagine playing all this music purely from memory, and you are flawless! I just can’t say enough about the brilliant quality of your harp playing! Hi Charlotte! That’s so sweet that you’ve been playing Christmas harp music in so many places, what a gift to the people around you! No I didn’t have the music memorized, I was looking at sheet music, you just can’t see it 👀 The music stand didn’t look nice in the shot, so we set things up so we could edit it out. Also the fire was filmed in a different shot because it was too hot here in summer! So it’s quite a lot of sneaking video editing here! 😅
