I heard a good combination of Uighur instrument and European song. I liked it....

Dear Duldul601! Do you have any folk music that doesn't have any modern instruments involved? I'm mostly interested in pentatonic tunes. Best regards from Hungary (Madjaristan) :D

@Qelender What does that mean?

@dbadagna it means that Uyghur culture is pretty various. there are versions of the classic ghejek - Qumul and Dolan ghejeks, which differ from the classic form by sound and appearance.

@dbadagna I found it: 艾捷克. You might want to add that spelling to your tags.

@@licheong I am myself a Jew who lost many relatives to Auschwitz in the Holocaust. I also knew Mr. Akram Omar personally, and am well aware of the genocidal campaign the CCP has been waging against the Uyghurs and other minority groups since 2017. To answer your question, when doing research about Uyghur musicians, it can be helpful to know how to spell their names in both languages because there could be articles or other materials about them on the Internet in both languages. Adding tags for the player's name and instrument in multiple languages can also help more people to find this video, keeping in mind that many people around the world are not fluent in the Uyghur language, but might instead search using Chinese characters or the Latin alphabet (i.e., romanized Uyghur or Chinese). Keep in mind that the uploader of this video still, years after having been asked to do so, hasn't even done the late Mr. Akram Omar the basic courtesy of adding his name to the video title or video description, in any language.
