I have an ear for music. I'm usually good with identifying samples etc I was also wondering the same thing about this sample. The only thing I was able to come up with was that this sample was from the Shaft movie. I'm guessing but I may be wrong. Out of every form of music ever stored in my memory within 30 years, the music/soundtrack from Shaft is the only thing that sounds similar to this sample. I haven't seen that movie in years but come to think of it, this sample seems like it was from Shaft possibly used in a random scene during a random moment or something.
