The most destructive insult was when Abed said that TV had leading men and reality just had Jeff. I don't know how they even managed to continue being friends after that
@lolcerditorock3 күн бұрын
Because Jeff understands Abed's language better than anyone, and anyone else's too. That's why he had a change of heart, only when Abed said it in a way that actually felt logical

Because Jeff knew he was wrong, and Abed was right. That's why Abed is probably his best friend in the whole series. He values that Abed calls him on his crap

I can't remember what podcast it was, potentially ted dansons...but he describes Rob Lowe as a character actor in a leading man's body. Not an insult at all, I just enjoy it

4:02 “I can tell life from tv, Jeff. Tv makes sense, it has structure, logic, rules, and likeable leading men. In life we have this. We have you.” Damn that’s a deep line from Abed right there. He took Jeff down a peg.

The 3 minute Jeff and Britta contest building up to Abed ending it all with "In life we have this. We have you" has to be one of if not the the most heartbreaking insult/truth bomb/reality check I have seen on a tv show. The only scene that comes to my mind that is capable of matching it is Todd's "It's you" scene in Bojack Horseman.
