Remember this short point for car insurance: The insurance you buy when purchasing new car, is a 'bundled' product. Means it is 1:3 (1st year "own damage" along with third-party insurance and the next 2nd & 3rd yrs is ONLY "third-party" damages/injuries). Note that dealer has no role if any "third-party" suffers injury/damage. Third parties may have to go to Maruti or Mercedes and in the case of injury it is hospital. So dealer is not in the picture for third-party claims. This means that "cashless" settlement point should not be your deciding factor. SO effectively, actually, it is only first year of insurance when you may actually visit dealer if any claim for "own damage". Renewal the dealer will not even remember whether you've done through him or other.

Completely Unfair trade practices. All manufacturer's dealers nowadays are running this racket of forcefully selling extended warranty, accessories etc crap, otherwise they are not ready to deliver a car early or not ready to sell at first place

No need to get Insurence From the dealer, you take the representative of any good company at showroom when you take the delivery of the car. No need to pay hefty amount of Insurence to company. I fully disagree

Dealer insurance 90k. Direct insurance from Kotak was 24k with all addons for Creta. Who in their right mind would would take dealer insurance😂

Sir I am not directly asking you to take insurance from dealer sir. If the difference is huge, you can definitely buy insurance from outside. But before that you always share the quotation with the dealer and ask for a negotiation on the price

External headlights and tail light cracks Will be covered under insurance…. SOT me bulbs and fuses covered hai…. Car body ka scratch will be covered under insurance and not warranty….

the insurance is a bundled product for 3 yrs where 1st year insurance is for "own damage" + "third party" and 2nd & 3rd year is only for third party. The 2nd & 3rd year does not cover own damage. You can separately buy "OD" insurance for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year, etc. from co. directly or dealer or online or any bank subsidiary.

45 waale aapko insurance me discount de rahe hai.... 66 waale apko insurance pe discount nahi de rahe hai... Dono se ek rough policy apne whatsApp pe manga lijiye aap.,. Dono ko compare kijiye... Agar coverage same hai to 45 waale se lijiye....
