3rd party insurance is compulsory to take your vehicle out on the road No one gives a damn if you die or break your car because of your own driving. If you want yourself insured that's optional, but someone else must not be injured due to you. Insurance provides a safety net for both parties in such a situation in terms of finaces for treatment, repair of vehicles etc. Don't listen to these half stupid maulanas man. Use your brains. Follow logic. Talk to intelligent people who have actually achieved greatness in life.
