The audio settings in this recording had the bass heavily boosted. Not very good because it doesn't properly showcase the weapon sounds as they should be

The HK417 has always been weird in terms of video game representations. They always are semi-automatic, even if they would have a select-fire option (like Squad with the Aussie faction).

Not to sound bad but it would be cool if they tweaked a bit some animations to fit the weapon. Like tweak a bit the PP-19 reload or the grip of the UMP-45 and HK417

I don’t know if this is the only way to do it but I never actually manually downloaded the mod or put it into my mods folder. If you go onto community servers and look up ISMC2, the servers will have the mods active already and it’ll download the mods needed for that server automatically. It does take a long time sometimes, especially when there’s lots of maps to download and also since there aren’t many ISMC2 servers yet, you might struggle to find one in your region so it might be laggy. I also noticed that sometimes I would have to redownload mods despite having downloaded them only shortly before. I think when you don’t play the game for a while or if there’s a patch, you have to redownload the mods again. You should be fine in the US but I struggle to find European servers I can play on in England. You might be better off playing servers with the original ISMC mod instead because there are more servers for that.

@@DasMonke another easy way to do it is with insurgency sandstorm mod manager. It does require a bit of work but with mod manager you can play locally without having to connect to a server.

Making animations is hard, and I don't think you can port them into insurgency, but if an animation is, "fine" then why make a whole new one.
