Myth 1 idea: Wearing Light and Heavy Armour reduces damage you take from knives Myth 2 idea: Wearing a gas mask makes you more resistant to flashbangs

Myth: the 50 cal can shoot through any amount of players. Test how many players does the 50 cal shot stop and won't kill after X amount of people it went through

One thing I would like to see tested is the AT Mines dealing damage through the ceilings of rooms into the floors above. I am almost 100% certain that they deal some amount of damage through most ceilings/floors, but it's hard to test solo which ones work and how much damage the detonation actually deals.

Mines and C4 do deal damage through floor/roof but not through walls.

Myth suggestion: ‘You can’t heard opponents reloading’ (even if they are nearby) MGEGibs had this on one of his recent videos, but I’m almost sure I have heard the ‘I’m reloading’ call out from oppfor before. Also I’m sure you can hear opponents ADS’ing but would be curious about other things like switching weapons, unsheathing knifes, couching/standing/proning?, pulling pins on nades/incendiaries/smokes, lighting Molotovs, etc. Sweet video btw!

I think what MGEGibs means is that you cant hear the sound of the gun makes when you swap out mags, not the voice lines, since voice lines doesnt always play

I want to know about sound. No one knows for certain if enemies can hear reloads, switching weapons, panting, aiming, leaning, and crouching, or jumping.

I can say for sure that reloads are not audible 3rd person (except the Garand ping) and ADS-ing is audible.

The biggest myth is still light armor vs heavy armor Do they make difference for real? Also will a dead body with heavy armor slack up more damage than one with light armor? (Should I hug my dead heavily armoires friend in a firefight)

Myth: tracers has more suppression effects than normal bullets. Myth: the type of footstep sounds differ depending of shoes, carrying weight and faction. Myth: ammo carrier can absorb bullet damage Myth: hp regeneration not exist in the insurgency sandstorm

You should test if the heli can get taken out by fire support, I think the easiest to test would be with the auto cannon strafe but insurgents don’t have that

I don't know if they fixed this, but if you toss an uncooked grenade then pick it up and throw it multiple times before it explodes, you won't take damage.

There is a cut voiceline where warlock got shot down so its plausible, helis can be taken down by mortars and rocket barrage, im not sure about artillery because its considered as friendly fire and helis are kinda immune to those.

Hey, to test out the grenade-collision myth you don't need 2 people; Spawn with 2 grenades Stand still look straight up Throw one nade then quickly throw the next they will collide midair and actually move horizontally opposite of each other and you wont even take damage.

It's possible as that alone has unique voice lines get triggerd for security to know the situation about the helicopter health Even the heli would leave immediately if you got both of gunners down

If you shot the pilot, no voicelines will be heard. If you shot the gunner, the pilot will announce that the gunner got shot you can even hear the gunner screaming/crying in the background, they will then leave.

There really isn't that much of a tactical advantage since the bodies are client-side so its really all about FPS and aesthetic

Low, so there are less bodies on your screen. Means less clutter and less chance of there being a body to block your bullets at the top of stairs or something.

@@vibecorrector Sure, but that also means you have less warning that someone may be watching an angle or something. Seeing a couple bodies in from of a doorway or window can be an extremely helpful sign to not go there.
