I just bought this game after the free weekend now. I'm trully sad that majority of the gamers are looking for games like call of duty and fortnite meanwhile a gem a true hardcore realistic game like this is around and it could be easily a bigger esport game aswell. Thia game deserves a much bigger attention.

I hate comments like this. "It's sad that people want X game instead of a game with a radically different playstyle." Those games are successful for a reason; they aren't this. The more mainline FPS player want duals, they want to move, they want fast paced action with robust mechanics like fast clambering, vaulting, and sprinting. Those games are competitively viable, and in most cases, you can actually feel yourself improving. Most players do not feel improvement with sandstorm. They feel their kills and deaths are random, their KD's sporadic from match to match unless they sit in an objective corner. As someone who owns insurgency, they do not want a clunky, grungy, slow game that rewards extremely passive play and extreme reliance on sound. It doesn't feel competitive. Most players do not want to waste their time and effort in a game that they perceive as luck based. Due to the extreme realism, Insurgency heavily relies on a lot of luck as soldiers often do in real life combat scenarios. *And let's be real, this is NOT and esports friendly game. Don't be silly* You may have community-made tournaments like this, but that's normal for any game

What’s cool is that they’re not all running the same weapons with the same attachments. Each gun has a purpose with its own strengths and usefulness. For example you’d want a gun like the MP7 so you can turn corners and throw down big amounts of lead in tight spaces and kill people quickly at short range. And a gun like the FAL is used for medium to long range engagements where you need to put out accurate and controlled fire. And the M249 is used for suppressing and controlling areas with a huge 200 round box.

Yeah playing for 6-7 hours easy. But playing competitively is just insane Also this game's competitive scene is like if call of duty was so good it only needed one game and was search and destroy but it has tarkov gun play.

These are not pro teams, this is a Pick Up Game. Where players are more or less randomly pieced together and then they just temporarily played together in this single tournament. They are of all skill ranges.
