Ah, the adventures of the world's worst mountaineer. Shows up alone with a single can of food, no oxygen, a tent made out of tissue paper (Only three uses?), and apparently absolutely no useful gear outside of gloves. Fully ready to steal from other climbers, more than ready to eat unknown berries and herbs. Apparently could go mad from 100 (cumulative) hours of walking on flat ground.

As a person who has done quite a bit of hiking in real life, with solo trips and camping, I find this makes more of an interesting premise for a roguelike than anything bordering simulation, even from a "climbing the tall mountain" angle. I also find the use of hexes very much detracts from the potential natural beauty of the environment, but maybe that's just me.

That’d be awesome. Here’s an idea to make it work. Your space suit is perpetually leaking oxygen and the heater is dead. The nearest place for help is a space elevator anchored at the very top. You must find duck tape/chewed gum/or industrial sealant to stop oxygen leakage for a short time. (Regaining oxygen during the plug) You must also find spare AA or AAA batteries or some kind of power generator to temporarily power the heater (regaining heat). And find ways to keep your sanity from reaching zero. At the beginning of the map, rescue pods are dropped from above and provide places of sleep while stopping (but not regaining (except you do gain some sanity and energy)) your stats.

Wow, never heard of this game but the minute I saw "hexes" I was sold. I have a weird love of hexes in my games since my Avallon Hill days. LOL. The one thing I wish they had done or hope for in the future. I wish it wasn't a "mountain climbing game." What I mean is I wish it were just a outdoor survival game where your in the wilderness and battling nature in general and not focused on mountain climbing. Like "Alone." Then as an add on, part of the main game or as a scenario in the game have this part of the game.

Yeah this is a peculiar one. I wouldnt be able to be immersed in this due to the hexagons, and the gameplay seemed all in all somewhat dull... But the roguelike mechanics, all the systems, thats all really well done and Id really enjoy seeing more. I hope we can see you play all the mountains. I most likely wouldnt enjoy playing this, but its quite fun to watch.

If you take your time and plan out your movements carefully the normal mode is quite easy. Scaled all 3 mountains on my first try without ever getting into critical condition on any of my stats. I too really look forward to seeing speed runs for this game :)
