Surprisingly, recent research shows that (dairy) butter is better than any other seed oil/fat out there (like margarine). Putting butter on bread is not a problem... it's the bread that is usually the problem.

butter is second best source of butyrate which is essentially one if the best things you can provide for your colonocytes ( cells that make up your colon ) . The best source of butyrate is fiber, and it is created from the food we digest in the process of fermentation, thanks to the microbiome in our gut :))

and from the plant based oils, olive oil is the best for consumption, no doubt about that. But you cannot heat up olive oil (so no frying and cooking with it, have to use it cold/room temperature)

@@bonndell I do agree that olive can be classified as good compared to the many seed oils out there, but still sadly as seed oil. (Though i do admit to it being the only seed oil that I still use, as it is the least unhealthy and def imo... the best tasting and most versatile) 😀 Sugar is still far far worse than any oil 😜

Yancy is said like the name Nancy. Yan-SEE county. Its in WNC (western north carolina) which just got demolished by hurricane Helene. I live near there but I live in a really hard hit area in East Tennessee.
