Also... your pinkie finger is SUPER important. You need it for power gripping. The pointer finger is actually the least useful and you could function most normally without the pointer. well lets be honest, all your fingers are important. the human body evolved this way because it is important. but yeah i would even say the middle finger is maybe the least usefull if you would be in that kinda situation, because your ring finger can overtake the function of the middlefinger. but like i said. all fingers are important for everyday use

You cant write without your pointer finger. Your ring finger has no tendon to lift it. Place all your fingers curled on a table with your ring finger flat and you cannot lift it without lifting your middle finger. Ring finger is the least important finger.
