@Insym, PLEASE ask the devs to add a Stopwatch. It'd not count as a carried item, but a worn item, like the head gear, so you'd still need to buy and equip it, and it'd be losable on a failed investigation. It'd have its own 2 keybinds. 1 to look, 1 to start/stop (hold to reset). Got 4 unused buttons on console, too. Would go on your wrist. This would let us run smudge timers, hunt timers, etc, in-game instead of relying on external timers. If tracking timing is important in-game, a way to track time should be added into the game imo.

Tier 1: Simple mechanic stopwatch, not electronic, but also hard to see in the dark harder to use and can be inprecise at time. Tier 2: Cheap lectronic one, illuminate in the dark doesnt do much more but is more precise. Has also a built in timer. Tier 3: High brand stopwatch, bigger square screen, can be put somewhere and still be easily seen. Can do multiple calculation at the same time. Also has built in timer.

I would prefer if it was just a simple watch that displays time since the investigation started, so it still involves a basic skill, and then you also don't need additional keybinds

As a new player, starting at level one was absolutely terrifying. While I know somewhat about the maps from your videos, playing the game is another ball game. My brother was absolutely clueless about the game but he’s learning quickly, thanks to all the tidbits I’ve learned from you and Psycho and I’m sharing those knowledge to him. Yesterday we had a blast, even with the weekly challenge, we’re both getting braver with each game.

@@adambrown6669 some of the items are pretty horrendous (para mic, spiritbox for sure), but the nice thing with prestiging versus if you were just a straight up new player is that you can do custom difficulties. I'm almost at the point of prestiging for the first time since level reset, but i can already tell just abusing high multiplier no evidence (and weeklies) will get me past the really awful stuff pretty quick. That's what i plan on at least. But rn I'm still only level 84, and i plan to just stay high level for now until my friends wanna play again so i get to utilize all the high level items for a while

Tier one stuff is honestly the exact same as tier three, just more time consuming (Cruc and flashlight are exempt). Unless you want to complete the game in as short of time as possible with op equipment then be my guest. Balancing in this game is beautiful

Tier 3 flashlight is decidedly better Tier 3 tripod can rotate and is more stable Tier 3 thermometer is more precise and easier to read than tier 1, especially in darkness Tier 3 gear gives you 100% an advantage over using tier 1, tier 1 can still work obviously and isn't terrible but Tier 3 definitely is better.

I just started playing this game with the console launch, and now i am condifentally doing 0 sanity 0 evidence. This is because of you Insym! I watched your looong ghost guide video 3 times, and if you can believe it i was fully invested the whole time and loved it! So fun learning about all the different ghosts and their behaviours, and you’re a great teacher! Since i started i have aquired the gold apocalypse, 234 ghosts identified, prestige 1 lvl 60, and 103 hours.. in 3 1/2 weeks - with a full time job! 😆 this has become one of my favorite games. thank you!

Had 2 smudges and tier 3 salt all set, ready to take a picture and then run for my life, only to get killed right off the last candle lighting. For Sanity in multiplayer, the way I have always made sense of that is that each player has their own sanity, so with 4 players, if it had the standard drain, that gives you four times the amount of sanity to work with. This really is just a buff for solo players. It is the exact same reason why sanity pills don't seem that great in multiplayer. You have a lot more sanity in total, but that also means that the pills, always giving you the same amount per player, it won't be nearly as effective.

Me and the missus came across a couple bugs playing on sunny meadows restricted. Hopefully the devs will see. One was a spot we got stuck in. The east hallway that’s connected to the middle grounds outisde area with the tree the benches and sometimes the breaker is there, as you walk into the east hallway from the “grounds” take an immediate left and there’s a spot where there’s a gurney next to a bookcase with space to get between them. Yeah we couldn’t get out. Had to leave the game. There’s one more spot you can get stuck in that the missus brother told me about I’ll have to get a screenshot. And,That bookcase that spawns right next to where the breaker box spot is in the basement, the bookcase sometimes doesn’t spawn but there will be floating books there like the game tried to spawn it. Hope this maybe points towards some errors in coding you guys can fix or something that helps. I love what this game is becoming. Update: finished the video he addressed the bookcase lol thanks insym Me and the missus had an idea for phasmo. I know it’s got bugs so it would take time to polish, but, a small or medium (maybe your choice) randomly generated map. So there’s just this one map that each time you go it’s a completely different layout. Rooms, breaker spots, everything. It sounded cool.

I recently had a Raiju who only gave me 2 evidence (on intermediate solo they were just being stubborn). Using some of the tricks I’ve absorbed by binging your stuff I was like well it only started freaking out when I put all the electronics in. And I got it! I just need to learn to loop the ghost and I might be on my way to being a pro ghost hunter.

I am a firm believer they should recode the summoning circle's sanity drain to be based on the Sanity% you currently have - for instance, it could take 70% of your current Sanity or a flat 5% Sanity (whichever is higher) whenever you light a candle, effectively still requiring you to choose to use the Circle before you drop below 25% but not locking you out of using it below 70% or something Sanity.

inysm please ask CJ about a potential bug involving ghost equipment detection. None of my ghosts lately detect my equipment. they wont follow me when looping or come near me. they all act like yokais. anyone else experience this?

It literally feels like they are even more oblivious than a typical yokai. Like they will be within 3-5 meters, flashlight starts flickering but no detection. And yes its on and in my hand. I played today as well and the same thing happened

I think the one thing that confuses me about Nightmare and insanity is forced evidences.

What's confusing about it? In Nightmare, you only get two of the three evidences. Some ghosts are FORCED to show certain evidence, like Moroi is FORCED to have Spirit Box, instead of it's other two evidences.

Only if it’s a board objective. Otherwise you can just do interactions and salt. You do need to collect the bone though (and it’s basically a free photo so…)
