there is a mod that adds a slot that is only for the flashlight its called "Reserved Flashlight Slot" and it is just that a slot that is reserved for the flashlight. it has the F to toggle built in as well

I play with the minimap mod and customize it with F1 personally. Like a truck camper helping you. I do love how Insym uses loot as bread trail though which is a great idea as well.

I dunno, it's pretty explicit in the description of the 'company building' planet/moon that the eldrich thingy *IS* the company. Honestly it's pretty funny to think about an eldrich horror trying so hard to pretend it's a fellow human running a salvaging company.
