13 Arcane
The build focuses on alternate casting of sorceries and incantations to build combos. Open with ranged spells to make the other player come towards you, then hit with them melee spells when they're in range and finish with aoe. I like to use spells with fast animations and recovery times.
Main weapons are Golden Order Seal, Prince of Death Staff, Sword of Night & Flame.
Talismans are Graven Mass Talisman, Flock Canvas Talisman, Radagon Icon, Bullgoat Talisman
I use Marika's Soreseal when I want extra Arcane for more Dragon incantations, and Shard of Alexander for melee Ash of War.
Other weapons I use include Miquellan Knight's Sword, Blade of Calling, Carian Knight Sword. Or re-spec to use Death's Poker, Golden Order Greatsword, Inseparable Sword.

Great vid! Inspires me to try set up a similar int faith build to prep for dlc. I started laughing though when you was getting owned by the shotel guy before going full ds3 straight sword r1 spam for the win 😂 5:00

This is how i always envisioned playing this game. Your chaining of magic is sick, it just flows in combat. Just add a melle weapon for drip aswell. Perfect 10/10

You can just use spells that do not trigger that effect at all.

I love how you just string random spells together and somehow it all works beautifully. Meanwhile , most of us are too busy scrolling through our list to find the perfect spell to stop the 3 person r1 blender sprinting toward us. Which leads me to wonder how this build would work in invasions.

Thanks! There is some thought behind this :) I open with ranged spells to bait the other player into rushing me, then I hit them with melee to floor them and finish off with a big explosion. Dragonclaw into Gavel of Haima works really well, and then something like Burn O Flame or Fortisax Lightning Spear. I've invaded with it too and had some success :)

That was smooth :O 1:10 Also i'm planning my build very similar to yours, but are other dragon incantations worth it at only 17 Arcane? I'm afraid they won't do much damage endgame but i really like the aesthetic.

Thanks :) Dragon Incantations are really strong through to endgame, stuff like Ekzyke's Decay, Dragonmaw, Borealis's Mist. If you're running Faith over Arcane then you can hold the Dragon Communion Seal in your non-casting hand to still get the spell-school buff.

What is your opinion on the maliketh black blade incantation? Alot of people dont like it because they say its too slow

It's easy to dodge so better for PVE i think

Imma roll with something similar, I want to utilize the status scaling on dragon communion seal with madness and bleed for PvP and PvE respectively; I ain't spamming swarm of flies on anyone, but I'll hug them warmly. I may go RL200 to utilize maybe somehow int too? Not really sure, time to bring out them data sheets i suppose.

Sounds cool. 30 Int goes a long way if you can fit it on your build. Gelmir Staff is best for Int/Fth until you get to 50/50ish then it's Prince of Death Staff.

Hell yeah, this is how I imagined int/faith! Not to bitch and moan, but all I ever see int/faith players do is spam rancor or sword of night and flame. This looks so much more fun.

​@@ironeaglegames My favourite type of build for a reason. Versatility and variety is king! Oh, and if I could make a suggestion: Put 2 more points into arcane, and add bloodflame talon. It's combo potential is massive.

@@ironeaglegames Same in DS3 ive bean playing as pyromancer so i put point's in both int and faith and in elden ring ive been so disappointed that there is no magic that scales with both int and faith

I feel like when you chain the spells you go int then Faith then int then Faith do you don’t get lost on the casting aspect. Easy to do it your not positioning spell slots right.

Yeah that's right, makes it a lot easier to keep track. If I mess up an input cycling spells then I get in trouble :)

I like straight swords so have night & flame equipped. I break it out if I run out of FP. I've seen people dual wield buffed erdsteel daggers and it's brutal 😂

Sure. Here's the main ones I like... Incantations - triple rings of light, flame fall upon them, dragonclaw, fortisax lightning spear, burn o flame, inescapable frenzy Sorceries - collapsing stars, adula's moonblade, gavel of haima, carian piercer, explosive ghostflame, tibia's summons
