I got the same v2 intake for my base TL and I love it, well worth the money, you move the ground to the other hole and it doesn’t cause any ground wiring issues. you use the bolt and the washer in that hole where the ground wire is.

Im pretty sure that part that screws to the ground is supposed to make it so the intake doesn’t vibrate or bang against anything when driving. I have an 08 tl and I screwed my in right there. I also got a hydro shield to put over the filter part because it rains a lot here in Oregon lol

Balljoints,wheel bearings and full polyurethane bushing conversion on my 93 DA integra. My cousin and I worked from 10am till 10pm and finished. First time for both of us doing anything like that.

can you slide it through the top of the hood without the filter? i did something to my bumper and i cant take it off now, im planning on sliding it through the top and installing the filter by removing the font driver side tire and going through he mud flap

Aem v2 gang, gang. Mine also arrived with some dings. I bought a gray AEM sticker from eBay and threw it on top of the visible part of the intake. I also bought one of those AEM dry filter wraps to put over the intake filter for piece of mind when it's raining. Still not trying to drive through a flood tho

at 8:25 u are missing a few components.You need a Vibra Mount Stud it’ll have to be secured with a m6 nut and fender washer to secure the overall intake, I ran into this problem as well and contacted the manufacture total for everything shipped should be about 30$ give or take. ( I took the extra step and got a power band and a molded step hose along with my order.)

Is an automatic TL type S just as good as a manual? I have enough saved up for my first car and I been wanting to get a TL but it’s hard to find a manual one with low miles so I think I’m just gonna get an automatic

Manual is definitely better but pretty hard to find in good condition, but automatic isnt terrible either

Get the manual, it's way more fun, plus better potential with mods. Also it's quicker with a good driver. Either way, buy one is good condition.

What year is the black Acura? That front bumper looks awesome… these videos are inspiring me to do more to my 06 Acura TL I just got… I absolutely love it. But the biggest thing I gotta fix is the interior. Cracked dash, and the previous owner actually cut holes in the driver and passenger panels for speakers rather than putting them behind the grills in the door panels

Bro our v2 intake wasn’t made for the 3rd gen TL so that little piece doesn’t have a specific home. Cut or weld your choice nice video 🔥 One thing I noticed as a 05’ 6mt is between each shift the intake preloads air for the next gear when accelerating. I use that like a boost to pop into higher gears 🛩

Everyone is going to have there Opinions about parts like that. OEM is the best way but I wouldn’t stress it. They will last you until your done with the car.

if you have the hydro shield over the filter you should be valid just don’t go over water that’ll give a huge splash from 4-6 inches
