Intamin did a really really amazing job with it i went on Danse macabre today and it was really amazing 😊 the only thing that's slightly annoying is a buzzing sound but other than that it's a amazing attraction ☺️☺️

Efteling is on the rise. I wish more people would take their money there I stead of wasting g it on a company like Disney that doesn't care about it's customers. It's less expensive, even with a plane ticket for moat people, plus you get to experience Europe.

the story of this ride is about the mysterious disappearance of a conductor and his orchestra at a big international music contest in an abbey, during Friday the 13th, 1876. The conductor’s name is Joseph Charlatan, he and his orchestra performed the Danse Macabre and were devoured by the Unnamable after finishing the performance, doomed to perform the Danse every night to calm the shapeshifting monster, for eternity. The Unnamable takes the form of an innocent-looking black kitten during the day. During the present, Virginie Charlatan and her husband, Otto Charlatan, have set up camp next to the abandoned abbey and turned some of its buildings into shops, so tourists would learn about the mystery, but these tourists have to beware of that innocent-looking black kitten, because at night it reveals its true form as the Unnamable.

@@ratatouille.im.cookin in August of 2021 a flag plate (a part of the ride) flew off the ride and hit a woman in the head who was queing for the ride. she now has permanent brain damage. we expected it to open for 2022 but Cedar point announced it wouldn't open for the 2022 season. what is important to remember throughout this was that dragster had lots of downtime due to its hydraulic launch but that specific type of launch was the only one powerful enough to get those speeds back in 2005. then on September 6 2022, Cedar point announced dragster will be retired in its current state and instead be 'reimagined '. On that same day we saw track being removed from the launch and break section of the ride, however it wasn't removed without care. The track pieces were all spotted nicely laid out on some pallets ready to be shipped. Then they were put in shipping containers and we have tracked those containers going to Geneoa. the closest port to intamin. So while some believe there may be a swing launch involved (like pantheon) I think that's quite unrealistic and instead the track will have LSM's fitted into the launch track, and updated break run, new trains as the old ones aren't compatible. and probably a new theme if it's being reimagined. At least in my opinion. I think it'll probably be open for 2022 but I really don't know. Hope this helps!

I see how it works differently mechanically, but I don't see how the experience would be drastically different from what's already offered at Universal Studios Hollywood Simpsons and minions ride, but universal is about to lose the licensing to Simpsons so maybe it's a good time to upgrade to this.

When I watch this and see what is possible with the big screen, I am a little disappointed with Danse Macabre. The version in the Efteling doesn’t have that big screen and if there is, it’s blocked by parts of the building, so you’ll never get the full screen experience. I might be wrong, but from what I’ve seen from videos, they didn’t build it around a big screen. 😢
